Hello Sherry;

My Keanes were from Co.,Roscommon,Ireland and came to USA in the late 1860's and early 1870's. All lived in St. Louis. In some census enumerations the name was spelled Kane, however the correct spelling was Keane or Kean early on.
There were some Kanes that were related to my father's stepmother via marriage. They lived in TN and were from PA.
