Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Maybe, maybe not. My great grandmother was Bertha Kiehne (and a variety of spellings, Keney, Keane, etc.) She and her three siblings were born near Harrisburg Pa to Ludwig and Christiana Kiehne. Christiana was born in Weissenfels, Germany. Mother died about 1833 and father took children (listed in order of ages) Robert, Adolph, Bertha, and Rosilina near St.Louis to the home of a daughter of hs by a previous marriage by the name of Fox. Robert Kiehne was in the Civil War and a prisoner at Andersonville. He did return home. Farmed near Morine or HOrine Mo. He, apparently. had four small sons, so there is certainly a good chance that there are some descendents in the area!!
Which is why I say, maybe, maybe not.
