I am seeking information about Keanes in New Zealand
My great grandmother was a Mary Jane Keane who married a Nathaniel John Blair in Auckland NZ in 1875.
She died in Sydney Australia in 1907.
Her death certificate says that she was born in County Mayo. Ireland & her parents were a William John Keane a chemist & Mary Jane (single name unknown).
Mary Jane was aged about 16 when she married so I assume her parents had migrated to New Zealand with her.
I have been unable to find any inmformation about Mary Jane's family. Like did she have any siblings or what happened to her parents
If you ever come accross any of my relatives or information please let me know
By the way the Blairs, Nathaniel & Mary had 18 children either born in New Zealand or Australia
