Thanks for the follow up. No, I'm sorry that wouldn't appear to be the right Thomas. My Thomas would have been born approximately 1830 or so, as my great grandfather John was born in 1856 in Kinvarra, county Galway.

I'll give Ancestry a go as well, it may turn something up.
