We're going back to Lewisville, T for the third time in a few weeks for more family study. We hope to find more information. Since our last visit to the place where our Great-grandfather lived and served as Justice of the Peace and several of his family served as postmaster and city entrepreneurs, we have visited such places as New Jersey, where his fatyher married Susan Sturges after he came to America (from Ireland, according to census reports, although we have no information where in Ireland). We have visited New York twice and Michigan, where the family built a mill, as they later did in Texas. My grandfather, son of John Nicholas Kealy, moved to California after he married Eliza Lou Dowdle where the family has lived. We have found considerable information of the Kealy family, but there is so much to learn. WE have hit many brick walls, and cannot believe there is no Kealy presence there today, or that we have slim record of cousins today, with the exception of two cousins we found on the Internet who assist us in our search for links. Kealy Street in Lewisville runs through a sizeable plot of the original town, today listed on a map as the "Kealy Addition." But what happened to the others who helped found that town, and where is their progeny? Need your help as we head out in two weeks for our third research trip to Denton COunty, TX. Paul E. Kealy (and wife, Lorene) Notify Administrator about this message?
