Hi-I have a William Kay on the 1900 census in (Calhoun), AL. The census reads like this. It's very bad so am guessing on some info. 139-145 KAY, William, m, w, 46, AL/SC/SC, married 26 yrs, farmer, Mary A or Margaret, f, w, Mar 1850, 50, AL, married 26 yrs, 9 kids 5 alive, Winn, m, w, Oct 1882, AL, Minnie, f, w, Jun 1889, AL, ABSTON, James, s-son, m, w, May 1880, 19, AR, Lillie May, s-dau, f, w, Sep 1892, 7, AL, Willie F, s-dau, f, w, Aug 1896, AL, KAY(KEY), George, m, w, Oct 1880, 19, AR, married 1 yr, Dorah, f, w, Jan 1879, 21, GA (Page 35-17). I was never able to find the family after the 1900 census. I wonder if this is William Lemuel Kea. Can you help? I am chasing the Abston line but cannot figure out the connection.

Take Care,
Jim Smith
Collinsville, IL
