My Mom, Wilma, used to talk about an Uncle Jesse whom she liked a lot. (Granville and Lola were her parents) She also told me that she was related to the Keelings. This all fits if Merritt Kays died in 1862 and Nancy remarried a Keeling having another child, Betty Keeling. Am I on the right track? Mom also talked about a female relative who really impressed her. This relative had one arm but reportedly functioned as well as others with two arms. I have no name for this person.
