I am interested in learning of the ancestors of William Kays who married Jane Beaty. I have no siblings of William. Have some info on a John Kays born Scotland in 1737, came to America with parents in 1750, settled in Philadelphia, parents died and the young John grew up in Philadelphia. He went to Newton, Sussex County New Jersey in 1772, married Sarah Hull, then enlisted in the American Army. I can not find descendants to connect him to my relatives or others.
