I am looking for information on this couple and the Eggemann family who were living in Morgan County, MO in the 1870s and 80s. I believe that John Charles Eggemann was the half brother of Hiram Piper who also lived in the county until his death in 1885. Their mother appears to be Susan (maiden name unknown) who was the wife of John "Edgermann" in the 1870 Morgan County, MO Census and with them are Hiram (b abt 1859), John (b abt 1862) and Charles (b abt 1868). In 1880 there are two Eageimon brothers (Charles (b abt 1866) and Francis (b abt 1872) living with brother Hiram Piper (b abt 1859) and Hiram's wife Mary (b 1857) in Morgan County, but no sign of parents Susan and John.
I found a record of a marriage between John Charles Eggemann (b abt 1864) to Martha Ann/Dolly Kays in Morgan County 5/10/1888. Does anyone have any information on this family?
