Hi,
I am descended from a Kaylor/Tracy family. My Grandmother was a Tracy who married a Kaylor.
Our first Kaylor (Abraham, born abt. 1740 Va.) had a son by the same name that went to Mahoning, Ohio where he is buried. He had 3 sons: Joseph, Jacob (my line) and Abraham.
My "Tracy" line was from Frederick Co. Maryland and begins (at this time) about 1730. Bezaleel Tracy married Kezian(h?) Merriman. They married in Maryland but moved to Applecreek, Wayne Co. Ohio. The Merriman family goes back to 1635 in Virginia. The families may have known each other in Virginia then both moved to Maryland or at least one son from each family moved there.
I would need to know your father's name and your grandfather's name on your Kaylor side to know if you are related. If you are I have a large notebook full of information that I would be happy to share with you.
