Not really trying too hard, just seeing because I am getting older and now have one girl and another on the way. Dad's on his way out and ran away when he was 17 and went to nam, two tours. He never really cared to see his family again, as a consequence I met my grandad once, then I buried him. I know the name Kaye spans many origins, our original was apparently Krukenburger, not sure of the spelling, name was apparently changed after WWII, at least thats what I was told as a kid. I was told many German names were changed to avoid German immigrant persecution after the war, whatever. I know I may not be a true KAYE but I need to start somewhere. My family is from Wisconsin, that's where I begin.
