One of my mother's great grandfathers was George D. Kay, born in DEC 1845 in New Haven, CT. He married Ellen Ashton 29 June, 1866 and I believe he worked for Winchester. They lived in New Haven, near East Rock Park.
His father was also George D. Kay b. in 1812. His wife was named Hannah and I believe she was born in 1820.
I believe the last two were both born in CT.
If anyone has more info connected to this Kay line please let me know. Thanks, Mike Fleming.
