Alice Kay was a 4xg grandmother and the wife of Edward Hopkinson publican of the Bulls Head Inn, Greenmount during mid-19C. I had assumed she was the daughter of William Kay who was inn keeper at nearby Naylors Green and the only Alice Kay birth I have been able to find. However William's will makes no mention of any marriage even though "my" Alice would have been at the time of the will. If anyone has come across another Alice other than the one christened at St Annes Church in 1803, I would be pleased to hear.
Thanks
