Connie, information on this family is documented in the book, "The Descendants of Robert Kay," 2nd edition (1999). It is in several public libraries, depending on where you live, or is available through the www.RobertKayFamily.org website ($25). The book traces Elizabeth's paternal ancestry back four generations. Her mother was a Shirley, and that line also can be traced back a couple of generations. Elizabeth's husband, John Wilson Hall, is said to be a son of Anthony Hall and Jane Boyd. I have no further information on the Halls and Boyds.
