William Kavanagh was in the 3rd Buffs - aka 'Royal East Kent. His regiment was detached from Deptford Kent 25 Nov. 1825 arriving Hobart Australia 25 Jan. 1825. He is listed on the rootsweb 3rd buffs page as 'staying-on.' Am looking for his descendants.
