I am Martin Kaupa, and I live in South Shields, England.
My father was Karl Kaupa, who was born in Zwittau, Bohemia in 1916. At that time Bohemia was part of the Austrian Empire but became part of Czechoslovakia at the end of the First World War.
My fathers parents were Franz Kaupa and Anna (nee Homma).
Karl fled Zwittau with his half brother Franz just before the Nazis invaded, and went to England.
I have not been able to get in touch with any other Kaupas (other than my branch of the family), or trace our tree any further back than Franz and Anna.
I would appreciate any help or information regarding my search.
Regards and Best Wishes,
Martin Kaupa
