Hello Rich
Although my wife, formerly Beverly Ann Katz, of Marshall, MI, is not directly related to your family she is a very distant relative. I have a copy of "The Katz Families from Hochdorf, Wurttemberg, Germany by Donald L. Katz of Ann Arbor, in 1957, which my wife Uncle gave to us. In it is a complete run down and pictures of your particular Katz family. Barbara Christina was one of 15 children of Jacob Friedrich Katz and Anna Marie Walz. from Hochdorf. There were three separate Katz Families all living in the Marshall, Tekonsha, area of Calhoun County at the same time. They were all related from what my research shows, but it was back in the Germany time frame. They were all from the same village in Wurttemberg.
I don't know if there are any copies of this particular book still in circulation, or if Donald Katz is even still living, but I can give you the information you may need from the book if you would like, I doubt if he would mind very much.
