My ggf was Leopold/Pesach Leib KATZ b.about
1850 in Sapinta/Szaplonca Hungary, now Romania.
He married Raizl/Rosa WEISS about 1870. Leopold was a grocer and merchant.
From about 1875 to 1895 they lived in Tecso/
Tyachevo Hungary, now Ukraine. My gf David
Jakob KATZ was b.1887 in Tecso. By 1900,
the family was living in Munkacs/Mukachevo
Hungary, now Ukraine. Leopold and Raizl died in Munkacs. My grandfather David emigrated with his wife(my gm)Regina EISENBERG and children to Detroit MI.
