John, The father of my grandmother, Isabel Stickman, was Otto Kathmann. She was batised as "Laura Bertha Isabel", recorded in the St. Peters Evangelical Church (records stored at Trinity UCC, 24th and Cherry Lane, Quincy, IL.). She is listed in St. Peter's Baptism, 1870-1897 on pages 146-147. In this record, her father is listed as Otto Kathmann. Isabel's last name, Stickman was given to her from her mother's late husband who was Henry Stickman who died in 1885. Isabel was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois.
Ben Kathmann who lives in The Netherlands has helped me on the ancestors of Clemens Kathmann. I am trying to learn more about Otto Kathmann, my graet grandfather.
