Bolton-Stanley Kaszubowski, 87, of Vikaryasz-Rd, Bolton, died at Alpena Hospital at 10:25 a.m. Thursday (April 1).
Mr. Kaszubowski was born Jan. 10, 1889 in Presque Isle County and farmed and lumbered in Maple Ridge Township for several years. He married the former Anna Kotwicki Nov. 18, 1913 at St. Mary Church in Alpena, and they celebrated their 50th Anniversary Nov. 18, 1963. He was a member of St. Mary Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, David of Herron, Edwin of Whittemore, Emil of Bolton and Roy of Alpena; four daughters, Mrs. John Wisniewski (Josephine) of Posen, Mrs. Walter Suszek (Lillian) of Bolton; Mrs. Sylvester Wieschowski (Lucille) of West Long Lake and Mrs. Wayne Derry (Virginia) of Alpena; 52 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; a brother, Anthony of Warren; and four sisters, Mrs. John Timmreck (Anastasia) of Alpena, Mrs. Adam Malenski (Anna) of Posen, Mrs. Joseph Hark (Nellie) of Flint, and Mrs. Bernard Jankowske (Jennie) of Standish. A son, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Kaszubowski’s body is at the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 this evening and where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Church with the Rev. Raymond Pilarski officiating. Internment: Holy Cross Cemetery.
