Jane,
I am in the Kassel line. Johannes, one of the brothers, had five sibs: Arnold Cassel, Peter Cassel, Mary Cassell-Cadwallader, Elizabeth Cassel-Kuster and Sarah Cassel-Daugas. I came through Peter's line. He had four sibs: Jacob Castle, Sr., the "Hunter" of Castles Woods, VA, Abraham Cassel, Henry Cassel and Valentine Castle/Cassel. I hail from Jacob Sr.'s line. The family in PA prior to moving down and outward, received news that they had inherited a million bucks in GR. Being the Mennonites they were, a church meeting was held to discuss the inheritance. The decision was: Do not go back to get the inheritance because it would affect humility, values, etc. Good to know that someone in the line had $$$$$, huh?
Will exchange information.
Bryce W. Castle
