I have a marriage contract of Elisabeth Karleskind to Joseph Theuret (my grandmothers grand paretns) it mentions a few things about Jacques and Magdelaine (spelled with a g) acording to the person that intreperted it for me.Jacques or (Jacob) a blacksmith, both names used one on the contract and one on the license. He died August 24 & she October 28 the same year 1827.I was told they had around 18 children and some died.He was married three times and my great-great grandmother was from the second wife (I don't know how true this part is ,that is what my great anunt told me word-of-mouth from them.)some of the children from their marriage: Elisabethborn June 29, 1814 Michel 4 years younger came to America with his sister her husband Joseph Theuret and their 5 children.I have the pasport from them. There was an older Brother Jean Karleskindborn in 1808, an older sister married Mitchel Loux - backsmith (legal guardian for Elisabeth because she was 17 when married)
