Am wondering if there is any connection!!I am researching a Jacob Karl who came over in 1864 from Germany. Also had a brother, Adam who came at the same time. Where in Germany are all these Karl's from? Could it be possible that the spelling was changed from Karle to Karl after arriving here? Just guessing.
