Hi, it is interesting that Susan lives in Louisiana becuase there are very few of us. We must be related in some way. I have not heard of her, but im sure my grandfather, Robert Kappel would know. He is from Houma which is just a few towns over from Franklin. I have taken a lot of interest in my family's heritage recently because little is known about it. I think there may be a possibility that my last name is of jewish origin but the first Kappel to come here from Prussia (Germany), C.A. Kappel married an Irish Catholic and it must have gotten lost in translation. He is coincidentally buried in Franklin. I can email you pictures of the Kappel graves I have taken if you would like them for your records. They are very neat looking because they are from the 1800's and the style is very forign looking compared to the surrounding American graves. If you have any info i would be interested so please get in touch. I will try to find out the info you are looking for on Susan. The chances of us being related are almost %100. How old is she? Im 26.
