Chris, I don't rule out that you may be your own cousin, but thus far the Kane/Keane DNA from Co Kerry has been Irish Type 2 (aka South Irish Type), and does not match Kane/Keane DNA from Co Galway. In east Galway, Kane/Keane DNA is a different branch of haplogroup R1b, so only related to the Co Kerry Kanes way back in pre-surname times. Both are Celtic of course. The Keanes of Connemara are haplogroup E, a pre-Celtic genetic strain. See www.familytreedna.com/public/Cain-Caine
