I am looking for the parents of Joseph Kanatzer, known to have been born in NC in 1806 and died in Miller Co., MO in 1878. He passed through TN, probably Fentress Co., where his daughter Samantha was born in 1828, then to Franklin Co., MO between 1830 and 1835. He is probably tied in to the Knortzers from PA and NC, who went to Fentress Co. Help!
