Since I've posted my query about Geo. Christopher b. abt 1830 and Mary Catherine Black b. abt 1838, I've found out that they are listed in the 1870 Decatur Co., IN census. They had 4 children at that time which follows: Mary M. b. abt 1864, Minerva Ellen b. abt 1865, William M. b. abt 1868, and Emily J. b. abt 1870. All the children was born in IN. Also listed was a Margaret Kanatzer, age 70, which I took to be Christopher's mother. It stated that Christopher, Catherine, and Margaret was from KY. The 1880 Decatur Co., IN census listed Christopher, their first 4 children plus another son, T.M. b. abt 1872. Catherine and Margaret must have pssed away within thise 10 years. I found in the 1920 Clinton Co., IN census a William, widower, with his brother, Thomas and sister-in-law. I found in the 1850 Madison Co., KY (Dist # 3)a Sarah Kanatzer, age 70, b. in N.C. (head of household) with a Margaret, age 50, and a Christopher, age 20. I don't know if Margaret was married to a Kanatzer and if so, which one, or she was a Kanatzer by birth. Can anyone help me out here? Would really appreciate it. Thanks. Notify Administrator about this message?
