Moses Kanady, b. abt 1770-1775, was the only one of ten sons of John Kennady to use the KANADY spelling. His four sons and five daughters all migrated from Nelson County, Kentucky, to settle in Gallatin County, Illinois, in the 1820s and 1830s.
There's only one Kanady left in Gallatin County now, but there are hundreds of Kanadys elsewhere who are descended from the four sons of Moses -- John Johnson K, Benjamin Harvey K, Lewis K, and Jesse Harrison K.
I'd be pleased to learn and share information about any or all of these cousins.
