Polish KAMINSKI brothers who emigrated to New York / New Jersey from 1880-1910
Hi,
I'm looking for info on these KAMINSKI brothers, who emigrated from then Russian-occupied Poland, from the small village RAKOWEK, to the USA. Perhaps their home town is listed as FILIPOW (the church parish where they were all christened / married), or SUWALKI (larger, nearby city). They would have passed through New York, and I think they all settled and are buried in New Jersey in the same cemetery.
They were all farmers. Only one brother, JAKUB (1882-1971), returned to the farm in Poland to take care of his father, FRANCISZEK KAMINSKI (b. about 1833, d. 1933; married to PAULINA MENTEL). FRANCISZEK's father was MICHAL KAMINSKI.
I'd love to get in touch with any cousins out there!
Thanks,
Paul Kowalski
