Hi Ken, ... I'm curious, did Dean Mayhew with the help of the professional genealogists he hired in the UK, ever determine where the KELLOCH name originated? It is my understanding that the name is found in CRATHIE PARISH, ABERDEEN,SCOTLAND in the most ancient records about 1100. ... Trying to make the great leap from KELLOCH TO KELLOCK TO KELLOGG has been very difficult.... I found no early Scottish records for KELLOCH. KELLOCK of KINGS LYNN records from about 1266, where Alexander Kellock was Mayor. KELLOGG (KELEHOG) records for DEBDEN ESSEX ABOUT 1325. There was a Geoffery Kyllehog 1277 mentioned in Essex. ... In all of your research, do you see any threads leading out of Scotland towards Kings Lynn or Essex?
