You requested to reply only if from the area you mentioned, but I found something in my mom's papers that could be of interest. It is a very long obit for John Kalkas, son of John Chancey and Jeanette Kalkas dob. 3-31-1904 in Ringgold Co, Ia. dod Sept. 25, 1948. m. on Dec. 19, 1933 to Flossie Ellen Kahler.. They had a daughter Sharon Kay born in MT. He had six sisters Mrs. Roy Jackson, Mrs. Guy Graham, Mrs. Walter Baumgartner, Mrs. Albert Baumgartner and Miss Bernice Kalkas.
