Hi Mary, This is where a little history comes in handy. It is not uncommon to hear or see Poland described as Russia Poland, German Poland, or Austria Poland depending where in the country you are. Like you my g-grandparents are from the area in Poland that is close to the Russian boarder. There were times depending on politics they would have either Russian or Polish, the same with te rest of the country. Confussing huh?
