My GGfather brought his family from germany to jamaica, and then to N.Y. I've heard the name WAS KAHEN< but could not confirem that, if anyone knows of any Kahn, or kahens, from germany and then to jamaica please share your knowledge. my Gfather was Jacob Emmanuel Kahn, and i believe his father was Louis. Jacob had a brother named David and a sister Blanche. I've heard that the ancestors were part of german govt, but left before WW1. They came to Jamaica just before the 1920's.
