Sari (I love your name, therefore we MUST be related)!. . .

Tell me, do the names Herman (Hank), Pauline, and Harold ZIVETZ mean anything to you? Hank is my newly-found cousin in San Diego, who told me that we have Montreal, France, & Israel family. He also told me we lost some KAHAN/COHENs in the Holocaust. Of course he doesn't remember first names, and without them I'm stuck.

Also, you mention 'Sam'. How does he fit into your tree?

A fly in the ointment seems to be that your KAHAN's are from Kiev, while mine are from Kovno, Lith. Of course, I know they did a LOT of moving around in those awful days, so maybe that is an explanation.

I'm hopeful we can make a match and I can introduce you to all of the family you never knew you had!!!
