Solon WILSON's little girl was quite sick last week, but is now better.
Al. MINTONYE came down from Humeston and spent last Sunday here.
Mrs. PARNELL went down to Davis City the first of the week on a visit.
Major YOUNG and daughter Helen went to St. Joe the last of the week.
One more nice rain the past week and still we are willing to take more.
Stephen SCOTT is painting his residence, recently bought of Mr. HAYNES.
The ground was laid off and work begun on the town building last Monday.
A blind musician entertained a small crowd on our streets one evening, last
week.
Dr. MITCHELL, of the Weldon Messenger was in Garden Grove on Wednesday last.
Republicans should not forget that next Saturday afternoon is the time of
their primary.
Harry STEARNS and Gould SANFORD went to Lineville Springs last week expecting
to spend a week there.
Miss Tot KAHLER, of Humeston, was here the first of the week visiting with
Mr. and Mrs. Morris BENEFIEL.
B. F. MATTHEWS and son Todd, of Garden Grove, had business in our City
Wednesday. - Weldon Hornet.
Prof. and Mrs. VERTZ have gone to Rhodes to spend a few weeks with Mrs.
VERTZ's mother before school begins.
We received a letter this week fro H. L. WAYMIRE of Mountain Home, Idaho,
ordering The Express sent to him.
