Your post is nearly three years old, so you may already know what I'm including. Sophia's parents were Marie [Mary] Knigge and Heinrich [Henry] Wenholz. Marie was born 1 Apr 1834 in Sachsen, Germany and died 30 May 1905 in Nicollet, Nicollet County, MN. Henry was born 18 Jan 1829 in Margersan, Hanover, Germany and died 12 Oct 1891 in Nicollet County, MN. They were married 4 May 1856 in Du Page County, IL. My ggg-grandfather, Wilhelm [William] Wenholz and Henry were supposed to be brothers. I've been trying to make a verified connection, but haven't been able to yet. I don't know anything about the Kahle line other than Henry married Sophia. You are welcome to contact me if you are interested in more info. Have a little bit more.
