I have a Kahle in my family and wondered if they could be of the same family as yours. Katherine Marie Louisce Kahle married Henry Christofer Wedeking in Hanover and she died when a son was born. A daughter Sophia Maria Dorothea was born to them Jan 14, 1854 in Hanover. Henry and daughter Dora came to the US after Katherine died in 1858. The family settled in Eastern Nebraska, where Henry married again and 4 more sons. My email is dandes@lakecountry.com
