Kaesshaefer Family

If there is anyone else out there researching the Kaesshaefer family please let me know. I'm told that Kaesshaefer is a German surname that means "cheese shepherd". My Kaesshaefer ancestors are originally from the Black Forest area of Germany and settled in Philadelphia, PA. My great-grandfather's name is William Frank Kaesshaefer.
