I've been researching a Dennett family with ties to the Juxon Family circa 1600's. There was a John Juxon, of London, Merchant Taylor, & Sugar Baker, who bequeathed to William Juxon of the Parish of martin hundred in Virginia planter 20 pounds. William gave a letter of attorney to Thomas Juxon, citizen and merchant of London to receive on his behalf the legacy. 29 Jan 1659. They were related to Bishop William Juxon, as was the John Juxon of Albourne who had a son William that was his heir as well as the heir of his Uncle the Archbishop William Juxon. This William was created a Bart. in 1660.
For this info, and further info, you should check out the site A2A. This is an Access to Archives for English Records. It is a free site, and you can order (for a reasonable fee) copies of old records. Two books (I haven't seen them) that might help you are: Serving God and Mammon: William Juxon 1582-1663 by Thomas Mason. and The Journal of Thomas Juxon edited by Lindley and Scott. Both are available as used books on the internet.
