Jeen Junkin was born February the 13, 1790
Mary ann Junkin was born on Friday the 11 Day of October 1800
Anthony Junkin his book Bought in Luisville price 16 (S? for shilling or pound sign)
Maryann: Junkin Departed this life July the 21st 1808
Anthony Junkin was Born September the 21st in the year of our Lord 1804
Anthony Junkin ws Born on Monday September the twenty first in the year of our Lord 1801
David Junkin was born on Sunday January the 29th of 1804

Some pioneer family wrote these dates into a book entitled “Sermons on Important Subjects” by the late Reverend Samuel Davies, A.M. Sometime President of the College in New-Jersey in three volumes
The Fifth Edition to which are now added, THREE OCCASIONAL SERMONS, not included in the former editions; MEMOIRS AND CHARACTER OF THE AUTHOR; and two sermons on occasion of his death by the Rev. Drs. Gibbons and Finley
Vol. 1 New-York Printed for T. Allen, Bookseller and Stationer: No. 12, Queen-Street
1792

The book is VERY old and worn. Some of the early possessors of it may have written in it because they did not happen to own a family Bible and wanted to record their family dates.A member of my church now has the book in Knox County, IN. The family may have settled in southern or southwestern Indiana in the early 1800's.
