If your heritage is German, then Young and Jung are certainly the same. You need to check out the following website if you are researching anyone from Lunenburg of German descent. It has an amazing amount of information available online.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~canns/lunenburg/index.html

Just to get you started I searched and found the following:

Johann Leonhard Jung came to Nova Scotia on the “Ann” in June of 1750 from Litzelinden-in-Wielbourg accompanied by Marianna (wife) Maria Mary, John Leonhard, Maria Eve, John Fred’r. They were settled in the area of Lunenburg called First Peninsula
(Note: above Maria Mary could be Maria Marg. instead—see 1755 list below)

The 1755 Victualling List has:
Jung: Johannes, Maria, Leonard, Margaret

1756 Victualling List records:
Jung – Johannes, Maria, Leonard, Margaret
Also another family
Jung: Adam, Eva, Peter Frederick (these names sound like the other two individuals that landed in NS with Johann Leonhard and I'm speculating that Frederick and Maria Eve could be son and daughter-in-law of Johanne Leonard and Marianne.

1770 Census of Lunenburg-lists head of household only
John Jung (Young)--1 adult male and 1 adult female
Leonard Jung--1 adult male, 2 boys, 1 adult female

Below from church records
SJAL –St. Johns Anglican, Lunenburg
ZLL –Zion Lutheran, Lunenburd

"YOUNG","Leonard","Married","1765-01-15",,"SJAL","Elizabeth Zink",,

Children of Leonard and Elizabeth were:
"Mary Regina","born 1766 abt","chris. 1766-11-20","SJAL",
"Caspar","born 1769 abt","1769-07-05","SJAL"
"Mary Barbara","1774-08-30","1774-09-11","ZLL"

"Leonard","1785-08-12","1785-08-20","ZLL"
"Sophia Eliz","1788-01-02","1788-01-10","ZLL"
There are probably some children missing from above.

Check out the website for a lot more information
Happy Hunting
Burdette
