Hi! I just found your post regarding John (Johann) Jung of Rowan County, NC.
On Cabarrus County Webpage, they have posted history of Coldwater Creek and have listed some of the church records. One of the church records lists John's death from pleurisy and mentions his unhappy marriage to Catherine. Catherine was a widow and married John. She was first married to my great(5x) grandfather Christian Barbarick. The record also mentions a daughter that is age 8. I would like to know if this daughter was from John's first marriage or if she was a result of his and Catherine's marriage.
Do you have anything you can share????
