This is a correction and update to my posting of earlier this date regarding the various gentlemen named Charles Julius who lived in Madison County, Indiana, in the late 19th century.
There were, in fact, two different men named Charles Edward Julius who lived in Madison County. They were first cousins to each other and both of them were first cousins, once removed, of Charles V. Julius, the man for whom I am searching. The second Charles Edward Julius was born in 1857 and died November 15, 1906.He is buried in West Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Madison County, Indiana, according to the Anderson, Indiana, Public Library - Madison County Area Cemetery Database. He was married to Louella Wysong. His parents were Peter Julius and Susan Jane Markle.
The two Charles Edward Juliuses were first cousins.Their fathers were both sons of Jacob Julius Sr. (1783-1854).However, I again emphasize, neither one was the Charles V. Julius for whom I am searching.
Thanks for taking the time to read these postings and to anyone out there for any assistance you can provide.
