SC Julians -- John Julin, Washington Julin, Sarah
Posted by: Betty Pace (ID *****9305) Date: September 22, 2007 at 03:17:53

From this SC archives web site I found some Julians in my search for

Who is the John JULIN I found? Who are Washington & Sarah Julin?
I note that a John Julin was in 1800 Burke Co. NC, where William &
Benjamin Julian had been in 1790, before William Julian headed off to SC
by 1800.

1802 Old Pendleton Dist., SC -- John JULIN mentioned in a deed transfer
to Edw. Burris--Julin was probably a neighbor adjoining property.

1808 Old Pendleton Dist., SC -- John Julin involved in petition to get
relief from Embargo Act.

1815 Old Pendleton Dist., SC -- John Julin mentioned in deed of John
Hawks, probably as neighbor adjoining.

1816 York District, SC -- John Julin mentioned in deed of Jacob Moore,
probably as neighbor adjoining.

1861 Pickens District, SC -- Washington Julin, Sarah Julin mentioned in
will of Jeremiah Looper, Sr.

1852 Deed from estate of James Findley to WILLIAM JULAND, Cherokee Co. GA
(I think this must be William Julian Jr. as Sr. seems to have died before

Here is what I found through Heritage Quest previously in searching for
William Julian:

1800 - Pendleton/Pickens Co. SC - Wm. Julian 45+ years, w/younger Wm.Julian &
John Julian/Julin

1810 - Pendleton/Pickens Co. SC -Wm. Julian 45+, but there is an John Julen too

Any advice?
