Hi Carl, Good to meet you and thanks for the reply it makes interesting reading.
You've informed me to a few details i didn't know. I didn't know what had become of William, but i can tell you in more detail what become of John jnr. Also i didn't know Sarah's surname was 'Bateman'.
As for the address's you mention, i've no idea if they exist today. I live in Warrington, but i do still visit B/ham as i still have family in Wast B/ham.
What became of John Jukes...bn 1829 and died 17th April 1901 and lived at 9 Erskine Street, Aston, B/ham. He married Amelia Collins Fowler bn 17/11/1825 on 2nd Sept 1850 in The Parish Church, Edgebaston. Between them they had 7 children...
Amelia Jukes bn 1851 died age 7
Mary Ann Jukes bn 10/11/1854
Eliza Jane Jukes bn 17/06/1856 died age 2 on 25/12/1858
John Jukes bn 26/12/1859 died 22/09/1880 aged 20
William Henry Jukes bn 22/10/1861 died 04/01/1891 aged 29
George Edward Jukes bn 15/01/1863 at 4 Adelaide Street, Duddeston (my blood line)No further details on George.
Arthur James Jukes bn 27/08/1865 died 18/05/1901 age 35.
As you can see with most families of this era, if they survived childhood they didn't live long lives, it's only by chance and luck that we even exist.
If you or anyone has any information on George Edward then i would be very grateful. I do know he married a Catherine Burns on 01/06/1884.
Regards
Paul Jukes bn 1968 B/ham.
