Ambrose, Caroline, Solihull?
My English great-grandfather died without leaving my grandfather much information. Reason I have been working on tracing the Sheffield line is because it looks like the best documented, easiest to trace historically. Thought if I could get it back into the 1600s, maybe it would wind up linking up to mine somehow.
We think Ambrose and probably Caroline are names in our line. Possibilities include:
Ambrose b 14 Oct 1831 Solihull son of John and Ann --no "e"-- or, possibly Ambrose b1833 son of John b1788 and Ann--no "e"-- but, don't know if they are the same as Ambrose m 14 Sep 1865 St Martin, Birmingham to Caroline Wagstaff?
An Ambrose b1835 m Caroline b1834 at Aldwark, Derby? Reason they may be the same is that they lived at Solihull Lodge, Warwick. But, not sure how any of it may connect. Only clews are just names, and we have a vague idea about that.
