I am looking for information on Mary Ann [Polly] Judy, born May 10, 1807, in Pendleton Co.Va.[W.Va.] Married to Nicholas Judy in 1824 [where?] and died in 1897,Ill. [where, and where buried? in the Wallace Chapel cemetery AKA "Judy cemetery" in Vermilion Co.?] Why did she and other Skidmore sisters with their families move to Illinois, and why at this time? Did they all move together as a group, or individually? By which route did they come, and over land, or by water, or both? When did they start their trip, and when did they arrive in Illinois? Nicholas Judy bought land there in Nov. 1852.
