Hi Judy Cousins,
Looking for more on John W. Judy and his wife known in census as "Grace R." but one family has her as "Ida Grace Ely".
John W. Judy, born December 1868 in Kentucky is the son of George Henry and Virginia Dugan JUDY living in Caddo Mills, Hunt County, Texas. Have plenty on them, of course, always looking for cousins....
Grace/Ida Grace has moved in 1930 to Monroe, Quachita County of Louisana. Has several of her kids with her and says she is a "widow".
John's sister, Nettie Lee, in her 1929 obit says John W. Judy is in Meers (Comanche County) Oklahoma . Found some Judy names but see a connection and no John. Guessing, John did die, maybe even in Meers, and will keep looking into this.
