Hi Bobett ,I can't give you any direct info on your Grandfather, but might stir you in the right direction. therewere Judges in AL in the 1800s.Fletcher Taylor Judge,b 1813 moved with his widowed mother to AL, Jackson co. He married there 1834 Ann Elizabeth Turk. They had 4 daughters, who married and had then naturally other names. They akso had 5 sons -James B, William E,Thomas J, Robert T, and Hilliard. The two last ones moved to TX,where Hilliard died young with only one little daughter. Robert (ours) is well researched and your grandfather does not fit in. Thomas J. died young that leaves the two oldest: James B had from a first marr. 3 sons: George, Alex and James.Gworge d young,James moved to TX, has no Judge desc. Alex stayed in AL and has a bunch of Judge desc. The second Son of Fletcher T - William married and had 5 sons; one of them -Charles was killed young. but the name might have been used for a nephew. I have to look up more info. You see, I try to help, because I do understand, that your mother wants to know.Eva Judge, widow, mother and grandmother of Juges.
