I have long suspected a connection between Judges of Scranton and of Newfoundland. Although your Mary,Margaret, and Beatrice are not my family itself, the fact is that my mother had sisters Mary,Margaret, and Beatrix Judge, all born about 1896-1910. Margaret has been a standard traditional name in the Nfld. Judges for hundreds of years, and still today. Almost all Nfld. Judges in that time coverage are related.
Do you know of any connection at all to Nfld.? Even if some ancestor once visited there on holiday.....that would make me wonder whom he went to visit. Thanks.Ward.wardgreene@hotmail.com
Of course likewise if any other Judges know of any Newfoundland connection, please contact me. Traditional names in Nfld. Judges are Peter Francis,Peter Joseph,Joseph Peter,William Patrick,Francis Joseph, and Margaret for the girls....and of course the obvious ones which don't help at all,Patrick,Mary,Bridget,John, etc.
